| Adhibition | Glyoxylic acid is the simplest ketonic acid (aldehyde acid). It has both acid and aldehyde properties and is used as an intermediate in varnishes, perfumes, pharmaceuticals, dyes, plastics and household chemicals. It can be used to produce oral penicillin vanillin, ethyl vanillin and allantoin. Allantoin is an anti-ulcer medicine, as well as an intermediate of some medical products and daily chemicals, which can be further processed into micro-efficient liquid fertilizer. |
